Wilson is a member of the Board of Directors for British Academy of Film and Television Art: Los Angeles (BAFTA/LA) and serves as the co-chairman for BAFTA’s TV Tea Party Committee. She is also a member of The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Television Publicity Executives Committee. In 2001, Wilson was honored with the TPEC award for Outstanding Publicity Campaign for a Primetime Network Movie or Miniseries and was nominated for the Publicist Guild of America Award for CSI.
Before starting her own company, Wilson was Senior Vice President, Worldwide Publicity for the Entertainment Group of Alliance Atlantis Communications, where she was responsible for the strategic planning and execution of all aspects of Alliance Atlantis' domestic and international publicity and media relations operations. Wilson was instrumental in growing and branding Alliance Atlantis as a worldwide supplier of first class feature films, series and "event' movies & miniseries. Wilson joined Alliance Atlantis in the company's European offices in 1988 before moving to the company's Los Angeles office in 1992 where she remained until 2004.
Wilson supervised campaigns for many Alliance Atlantis theatrical motion pictures, including the multi-award-winning feature documentary from Michael Moore, Bowling for Columbine, and was responsible for overseeing worldwide publicity on many Alliance Atlantis television projects, including:
- The internationally successful CSI franchise: CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: Miami and CSI: NY.
- The award-winning mini-series Life With Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows, for ABC, which was the most-watched movie on television during the 2001 season. Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows starred Judy Davis and received 13 primetime Emmy nominations (including Best Miniseries), and won 5 Emmys. Life with Judy Garland also won the Television Critics Award for Best Miniseries, Movie or Special, and received three Golden Globe nominations (including Best Miniseries or Motion Picture made for Television) and won a Golden Globe Award.
- Hitler: The Rise of Evil, a CBS miniseries starring Robert Carlyle, which was nominated for 7 Primetime Emmy Awards including Best Miniseries.
- The award-winning TNT mini-series Nuremberg, starring Alec Baldwin, Jill Hennessy, and Brian Cox, for which Cox won his first Primetime Emmy Award. Nuremberg was the highest rated miniseries ever on basic cable when it aired in July 2000 and was nominated for 4 Primetime Emmys including Outstanding Miniseries, and received 3 Golden Globe nominations.
- The award-winning CBS Miniseries Joan of Arc starring Leelee Sobieski and Peter O'Toole, which received 13 Primetime Emmy nominations, and four Golden Globe nominations - Joan of Arc also won the Television Critics Award for Best Miniseries, Movie or Special.

- The Matthew Shepard Story for NBC, starring Shane Meier, Sam Waterston and Stockard Channing (who won a Primetime Emmy Award for her role as "Judy Shepard).
- The CBS miniseries The Salem Witch Trials, starring Kirstie Alley, Shirley MacLaine, Gloria Reuben and Rebecca DeMornay.
- Crossed Over, an MOW for CBS starring Diane Keaton and Jennifer Jason Leigh
- Haven, a 4-hour miniseries for CBS that starred Natasha Richardson as well as Anne Bancroft and Martin Landau. Haven received 3 Primetime Emmy nominations and won the Humanitas Award.
